Develop Your Individual Development Plan
An Individual Development Plan (IDP) defines research and career goals, and helps map out steps and timelines to achieve them. It identifies your strengths and interests, as well as competencies needed. The IDP also functions as a self-assessment, communication, and mentoring tool, facilitating annual reviews, identifying professional development needs, and tracking career progress and advancement.
