  • Do you provide transportation to and from the conference?

Each participant is responsible for their own travel to and from the conference. While the conference is in session, the University of Miami will provide transportation between meetings, as needed. For further information, please refer to the "Travel & Transportation" section of the conference website.

  • What hotel accommodations should I make?

The University of Miami will reserve and cover the cost of rooms for you on Monday and Tuesday nights (June 23rd and June 24th). You do not need to make a reservation for these dates. Prior to the conference, you will receive a reservation confirmation and number via email directly from the hotel. If you do not require accommodations for either or both of these nights, please indicate this on your registration form. Participants are responsible for any additional nights at the hotel. If your travel plans require extra nights, please contact the hotel directly to make arrangements.

  • Will parking be available at the hotel?

Valet parking is available at the Thesis Hotel for $39 per night to hotel guests. Self-parking is available at the parking garage of Thesis Residences for $36 per night; fees for hourly self-parking are advertised on-site and are subject to change. The parking garage is open from 6am – 11pm. Between 11pm and 6am, you may valet or call (305) 667-5611 for assistance.

  • What is the conference attire?

The ACC ALN conference attire is typically described as "smart/business casual". As you pack, consider practical and professional attire with clothing layers that account for the tropical heat and humidity, rain showers, and cold meeting rooms due to air conditioning. Bring comfortable shoes for walking, and backup clothes and shoes in case of rain showers.

  • What will the weather be like?

Miami weather in June is typically hot and humid. The average maximum temperature at this time of year is 88°F, while the minimum is 76°F.
